Rocky Mountain Featherbed is an iconic brand
As you may already know, Rocky Mountain Featherbed was founded in the late 1960's in Jackson Hole, Wyoming USA. With the Wyoming wilderness in mind the brand was created as a modern interpretation of the classic western garments. We drew inspiration from the traditional yokes worn by the Natives and snap buttons, these were then mixed with the materials of the day - to create a garment that every modern cowboy needs.
It took us 30 years to figure out what our next step was and during that time our pieces inspierd a lot of other brands across the globe. We saw that and realised that we had it right from the beginning, so we started to create great down vests again. With new, more environmentally friendly materials, we started to make our iconic down vests that are functional.
